PARTNERS
Local expertise.
International reach.
The multidisciplinary and highly skilled consortium consists of seven partners from Europe, Asia, and Africa, each bringing specialized expertise essential for studying the Phoenix spp. native to their respective regions. The partners collectively cover all necessary fields of knowledge to successfully implement and analyze the proposed project.
A consortium across three continents.
The consortium’s broad geographical distribution ensures coverage of endemic Phoenix species with very limited ranges, such as P. theophrasti, P. canariensis, and P. atlantica. This enables the project to have a wide-reaching application and enhances the potential for future utilization of its results. All the partners are well-established institutions, each operating for over 20 years in their regions and have extensive experience in EU or national funded projects, while their long-standing presence provides stability and strong connections with local and regional stakeholders
